Recently the CDS was fortunate to be visited by Professor Zaliha Omar, Consultant Rehabilitation Physician who is a member of MIND, Malaysian Information Network on Disabilities based in Penang and Dr. Siti Abdul from School of Educational Studies, University of Sains Malaysia, Penang, Malaysia. This was a return visit funded by the Australian Malaysian Institutue to plan a pilot module on Disability Studies with an emphasis on Vocational practice.  The two visitors met individually with the CDS staff and were welcomed at a wholesale plant nursery run by Ability Options in Penrith.  Emiritus Professor Trevor Parmenter is travelling to Malaysia to deliver the module in July.  Also Sue Steelsmith from Royal Rehab's Registered Training Organisation will be travelling to Malaysia to discuss the relevance of its Certificate in Allied Health for delivery in Malaysia.

Pictured below are a few photos taken over lunch with Patricia, Trevor, Tony and Professor Omar and Dr Abdul.
