The ASSID NSW Conference 2010: Providing SUPPORT Receiving SUPPORT Recognising SUPPORT was held on Friday 20th August at the Liverpool Catholic Club.

With over 160 participants from metropolitan and rural areas, this year's Conference introduced the Inaugural ASSID NSW Disability Support Worker Recognition Award. All nominations for the Award were of a high quality, but Leanne Leahey of Orange was the successful recipient on the day.
The eight presentations, including keynote addresses from Professor Roy Brown and Professor Patricia O'Brien of CDS, provided a well-rounded program that addressed the issue of support.
