Timothy Hart BA(Hons) MPASR. National Disability Coordination Officer (NDCO) for North Sydney and Central Coast ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Timothy Hart has worked in the disability sector for more than eight years, first as the Convener of the Australasian Network of Students with Disabilities (ANSWD). Currently he is the Treasurer of People with Disability Australia (PWD) and President of the Australian Learning Disability Association (ALDA). He has an Honours Degree in Philosophy and Masters of Policy and Applied Social Research both from Macquarie University and is a user of Assistive Technology. His current role is the National Disability Coordination Officer (NDCO) for North Sydney and the Central Coast, a position funded by the Australian Government Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) and is based at the Centre for Disability Studies (CDS). National Disability Coordination Officer (NDCO) Program. The NDCO program is a federal it funded program that targets the barriers that people with a disability face in gaining access to, and successfully completing, post-school education and training. The goals of the NDCO program are: * Improve transitions to help people with a disability from school or community into post-school education and training and subsequent employment. * Increase participation by people with a disability in higher education, vocational education and training and employment. * Establish better links between schools, universities, TAFEs, training providers and disability service providers so that they can work together to provide the best possible assistance for people with a disability.
